The leather used to produce Minda sandals is locally sourced in Morocco as a byproduct. The tanning process uses organic plant materials, such as tree bark and fruits, ensuring safe working conditions and that any water run-off is not harmful to the local community.

These are very well-made with quality material. My only complaint is they are very stiff and hit my bunion. Not the shoe's fault. I'm trying to power thru it to soften them up, where I think they will then be fabulous! Happy I bought them. Very classy looking.
